Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Tim Walz will conclude their two-day tour of Georgia Thursday with a rally in Savannah.
The Democratic duo held a bus tour and private fundraising dinner Wednesday night as they eye the Peach State as one of the main battleground territories for the 2024 presidential election.
What once was an afterthought as a bright red state, Georgia is now considered a 'purple state', meaning a toss up, after turning blue in 2020 with a Joe Biden victory by just under 12,000 total votes.
According to recent polling, Harris and republican nominee Donald Trump are neck-and-neck in Georgia, with Trump holding a 0.6% advantage in the state according to fivethirtyeight and by 0.8% according to 270towin.
